A Portfolio with Purpose

Throughout my involvement in agriculture, I have had opportunities to speak to diverse audiences about the importance of the agricultural industry.

My goal is to educate others, bridge the gap between producers and consumers, and promote agricultural literacy.

I delivered speeches, participated in outreach events, and shared information about agriculture through both in-person and digital platforms.

I have helped increase awareness and understanding of agriculture while building strong communication skills and confidence in public speaking.

I operate my own livestock business, raising and selling show cattle to youth exhibitors while managing daily animal care and business operations.

My goal is to produce high-quality cattle, support youth in their livestock projects, and maintain a successful and sustainable operation.

I developed feeding and health management programs, worked closely with buyers to match cattle to exhibitors, and mentored youth throughout the process—from selection to show day. I also handled marketing and communication with customers.

My program has successfully placed cattle in competitive shows while building strong relationships with youth and families. I have gained valuable experience in business management, communication, and leadership.

As the Bosque Farms Rodeo Association Queen, I represent the organization and the western way of life at events, appearances, and community outreach opportunities.

My responsibility is to promote the rodeo, engage with the public, and serve as a positive role model for youth while advocating for agriculture.

I attended events, interacted with community members, promoted the rodeo through social media and in-person outreach, and represented sponsors and the association in a professional manner.

I strengthened community connections, increased awareness of the rodeo, and enhanced my public speaking, confidence, and leadership skills while representing the western industry.

As a New Mexico State Media Ambassador for The Foundation for Western Professionals, I had the opportunity to represent agriculture, rodeo, and the western industry through media, storytelling, and community outreach.

My goal was to create meaningful content that educated the public, highlighted western professionals, and helped bridge the gap between agricultural producers and consumers.W

I developed social media posts, researched agricultural topics, wrote captions and outreach materials, and worked to highlight individuals and organizations connected to New Mexico agriculture. I used communication, creativity, and advocacy skills to share stories that represented the values of the Western way of life.highlighted

Through this role, I strengthened my skills in agricultural communication, media content creation, public outreach, and professional branding. I also gained experience using digital platforms to advocate for agriculture and promote the people who keep the Western industry strong.
